Power.

For those who are in power (ie. make money) due to the fervent evangelism of some belief structure, are they in power because of their fervent belief or because of their fervent evangelism?

Furrowed Brow

It is not suprising that imposing on someone else's "territory" generates a furrowed brow from the defender. The thing of most interest is the furrowed brow of the offender....

Categories, Categories....

There is little that is more useful than putting other people in categories, such brutish and simple categories. This would also extend to the pragmatism of convincing oneself that one "knows oneself". While I love the former, I loath the latter....

Feeling Strongly

Is it so silly when we feel strongly about something not because of the something, but because of the feeling strongly?

Uni-grossalism....

The problem with politics and religion is that they make people look like idiots, uni-laterally supporting the theories of their leader. Although such uni-lateralism is pragmatic to the utmost degree, it makes for horrible conversations....
